An inductively coupled oxygen radio-frequency (13.56 MHz) discharge is investigated based on modeling and experiment. Experimental measurement is done at a range of gas pressure of 1-30 mTorr, and rf power of 100-1000 W. We measure most of the important plasma parameters such as the densities of charged species, electron temperature, plasma potential, and electron energy distribution function. The measured values are compared with the results of the spatially averaged global model. We observe a generally good agreement between the modeling and the experiment. The scaling features, the transition of the operating region, and the radial distributions of charged species are also discussed.
The electron energy distribution function (EEDF) is measured with a Langmuir probe in an inductively coupled rf (13.56 MHz) Ar discharge in the pressure range from 5 to 70 mTorr, by changing the power injected into the plasma up to 100 W. The EEDFs measured at a pressure of 5 mTorr formed a bi-Maxwellian structure, which is not prominent due to high electron density, in the energy region lower than the lowest excitation threshold energy. The EEDF structure in the energy region higher than the threshold has a significant depletion of high energy electrons. The EEDF measured at a pressure higher than 10 mTorr can be approximated using a two-temperature distribution, which consists of the higher temperature in a low-energy region below the lowest excitation threshold and the lower temperature in a high-energy region. A global model using the two-temperature distribution is proposed and compared with the experimental results. The model consists of the rate equations for neutrals and charged particles and an energy-balance equation for electrons together with the balance equation for high-energy electrons. Pressure dependences of the electron density and temperatures predicted in this global model agree well with the experimental results except in the pressure range lower than 10 mTorr.
Thin films of In2Se3 deposited by thermal co-evaporation crystallize upon vacuum annealing almost single phase into an, up to now, unknown structure. Only when the films are capped with a thin oxide layer before annealing, the reportedly stable γ-In2Se3 structure, single phase and aligned along the c axis forms. Rutherford backscattering confirms an In to Se ratio of 2 to 3 for both structures. Nevertheless, the new structure has distinct x-ray diffraction peaks and Raman spectra. The new structure has a much lower resistivity than the γ-In2Se3 structure, consistent with its smaller electrical and optical energy gap. Both structures show large photoconductivity.
The present study extends our previous work that concerned the effective permittivities and absorptivities of particulate composites consisting of graphite-type microsphere inclusions in a dielectric matrix, and their suitability as radar-absorbing materials. Whereas in that work spheres of one size (radius a = 50 オm) had been considered only, we here study the dependence of the results on the sphere radius of up to one or several millimeters, and find sizable effects on permittivities for a1 mm, and below that for the absorptivities, indicating the increasing importance of multiple scattering effects. While the multiple-scattering formulas utilized here are based on a low-frequency approximation, we devise a modification of these formulas in order to extend their validity to higher frequencies (or larger particle sizes).
rsync-backup automates the process of backing up multiple systems to one or more backup servers. It focuses on making the process secure. It encrypts the backup going across the wire, only ships changed data, runs the server as root to preserve permissions and ownership, keeps people from seeing each other's backups, and doesn't require the server to trust any files sent from the clients. It doesn't ship password files, key files, nor other sensitive files across the wire, but backs them up locally instead. Admins may use one key for everyone (backups named after the client IP) or allow named backups (when a machine may change IP or when multiple independant backups may need to be made from one machine).

DHCPStatus is a Web-based query tool for browsing information stored in dhcpd's configuration and leases files. It correlates the subnet details that you configure in the conf file with the lease records that DHCPD maintains in its lease file. CVSSearch searches for code fragments using CVS comments. Specifically, it takes advantage of the fact that a CVS comment describes the lines of code involved in the commit and that this description will typically hold for many future versions. In other words, CVSSearch allows you to better search the most recent version of the code by looking at previous versions to better understand the current version. Future microchips might manipulate light signals as easily as computer chips handle electronic data--only faster. That dream seems possible using photonic crystals--nanoscale periodic structures that can precisely control light propagation at specific wavelengths. In the 2 April PRL a team shows that another type of light-speed signal called a surface plasmon polariton (SPP) can be manipulated using the same principles. The researchers guided these electron waves along a gold surface with structures that are much easier to make than conventional photonic crystals. The new structures may also lead to new experiments aimed at better understanding SPPs, waves that consist of an unusual interaction between metallic electrons and light.( Sergey I. Bozhevolnyi et al., Phys. Rev. Lett. 86, 3008. )

Yabasic implements the most common and simple elements of the basic language. It comes with goto/gosub, with various loops, with user defined subroutines and libraries. Yabasic does monochrome line graphics and printing. Yabasic runs under Unix and Windows, it is small (around 200KB) and free. Changes: A fix for a bug from 2.690 which prevented yabasic from parsing simple expressions like a/(b), implementing logical shortcuts (i.e., conditions within if or while statements are only evaluated as far as needed), a new form of the open statement and function, no distinction between expressions and conditions any more, and a fix for a bug with printing under Windows.

SYSLINUX is a boot loader for the Linux operating system which operates off of MS-DOS floppies. gfontview is a GTK+ font viewer for PostScript Type 1 and TrueType fonts. It allows you to display any character or string in a particular font as well as all glyphs present in it. It supports antialiasing and kerning. It can also print font samples and font catalogs. Because the design and the security ramifications of CVS's pserver scare me, I do not offer traditional anonymous cvs access to my CVS repository. However, you can access it using an anonymous CVS over ssh method that I've hacked together.
MaraDNS is a DNS server that strives to be secure and fully open-sourced. Changes: Since MTAs often use an "all record types" query to get the A and MX record in a single DNS reply, I have hacked "all record types" support in to MaraDNS. An "all record types" query now returns all of the A and MX records for a given hostname.
The sysstat package contains the sar, mpstat, and iostat commands for Linux. The sar command collects and reports system activity information. This information can also be saved in a system activity file for future inspection. The iostat command reports CPU statistics and I/O statistics for tty devices and disks. The statistics reported by sar concern I/O transfer rates, paging activity, process-related activites, interrupts, network activity, memory and swap space utilization, CPU utilization, kernel activities, and TTY statistics, among others. Both UP and SMP machines are fully supported. Changes: Better network interfaces handling -- now takes into account the fact that they may be registered/unregistered dynamically, changes to the formula used to display statistics in order to avoid overflow conditions, a fix for a bug in iostat where the %util value scaled incorrectly, better long filename management by iostat, mpstat and sar no longer periodically display the title line when stdout has been redirected to a pipe or a file, the sa2.sh shell script has been updated (now exec sadc), the configuration script has been updated, and the isag command improved.

Windows パスワードはコントロールパネルの「パスワード」から変更できますが、このとき Microsoft ネットワーククライアントやスクリーンセーバーパスワードを同期させるかチェックボックスで選択することが可能です。
常に同期させたい (常に同期のチェックを入れたい) 場合、次の手順でレジストリを変更して下さい。
Windows パスワードの認証を無効にする (というかネットワークパスワード認証だけにする) のってできないんかね。
- [スタート]−[ファイル名を指定して実行] から regedit を起動します。
- Microsoft ネットワーククライアントのパスワードを同期させたい場合、HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System \CurrentControlSet \Control \PwdProvider \MSNP32 を開き、[編集]−[新規]−[バイナリ] をクリックします。
- 「新規値 #1」 の名前を UseMasterKey に変更し、これをダブルクリックします。
- UseMasterKey の値に 00 00 00 01 を設定します。

The word "crystal" usually refers to atoms arranged in a lattice, but Wigner crystals are made entirely of electrons. In the 23 April PRL a team describes how to make such a crystal by compressing an "electron liquid," and how to turn the crystal back into a liquid by squeezing some more. The team's computer models also indicate new and surprising behaviors of small electron crystals. The results suggest experiments that might allow simple and direct observation of Wigner crystallization. (A. V. Filinov et al., Phys. Rev. Lett. 86, 3851. )
Changes: A security fix was made for an unsecure tempfile creation bug in fetchmailconf. A patch to make IPv6 build on older systems was included. Shrouding was restricted to just the password send so it won't leak info. A patch to support configuring a specific fallback MUA was incorporated. FALLBACK_MDA was added. The SA_LEN patch from Red Hat was incorporated, as well as their 5.5.0 Kerberos V patch.5.8.1 (Unstable) というのも出ている。

ssh-multiadd adds multiple ssh keys to the ssh authentication agent. These may use the same passphrase. When run without arguments, it adds $HOME/.ssh/identity and $HOME/.ssh/id_dsa. Alternative file names can be given on the command line or in the configuration file. It uses ssh-askpass if necessary. Unlike ssh-add, if any of the keys use the same passphrase, you will only need to enter each unique passphrase once, and keys that are already added will not be prompted for again. Changes: This release now searches for programs in the PATH rather than the hardcoded /usr/bin/, ssh-askpass naming variants are now checked, /usr/lib/ssh is searched, and any .ssh or .ssh2 directories are searched for. Error messages have been improved when running a subprogram fails, and / is no longer assumed as a path seperator.
