This picture is inside the back plate of the OES system. In this picture, shutter of the camera is open and the reflex mirror is escaping.

At about the center of the back plate, there is the receptacle of the optical fiber, on which the incident light focuses.

Berfore you measure the optical emission, you can locate the observation position by viewing the object through the finder of the original camera. When you open the shutter, you can observe the emission from there.
